Growing up on Long Island, New York, I loved television. I’d schedule my days around my favorite shows. I just didn’t think someone like me could actually, you know... work in television. Turns out, you can. My career has been anything but conventional, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I started on a couple of talk shows (not quite Jerry Springer-level, but close) before landing my dream job at the iconic, Emmy-winning “Rosie O'Donnell Show.” It was every bit as fun as you’re imagining. Fun fact: I wanted to work there so badly that I sent my résumé and cover letter (always different versions) to Warner Bros. so often they actually flagged me and put me in a “security file.” No joke. Once they hired me and realized I was normal (or normal-ish), the file went in the trash. Moral of the story: Be relentless. Be tenacious. Just don’t forget your manners. From there, I intentionally chased jobs that pushed me outside my comfort zone. I post-produced an unscripted series. Cast a dating reality show. Led the video department at a startup. I was the Showrunner of a first-of-its-kind daily digital series. My philosophy has always been simple: the more you learn, the more interesting your career becomes. Since then, I’ve produced game shows, talk shows, live shows, lifestyle series, podcasts, branded content, YouTube originals and just about everything else. I’ve captained live broadcasts, supervised field shoots, built creative teams, helped startups find their voice and co-created a podcast that regularly cracked Apple's Top 10 in its category.
